Asco Motors has resigned with the 2017 CPA Congress with a silver sponsorship of FJD30,000, almost a 100% sponsorship increase from the previous year.
Financial Controller, Mr Ronald Kumar says “Asco Motors is proud to once again sponsor the annual CPA Fiji Branch Congress 2017. This year we have increased the value of our sponsorship to FJD30,000 from FJD16,000 last year. This is testament to our growing confidence in the CPA brand here in Fiji. Asco Motors supports the initiatives undertaken by the CPA Fiji Branch Executives in bringing quality speakers and content to our beautiful shores. The annual CPA Congress is a gathering of our leaders, key management executives, fellow accountants and members from various industries across Fiji”.
The CPA Congress is now regarded as a major premier business conference in Fiji. The congress is usually host to a diverse range of speakers and acts as an impetus to connect local participants to market-insight experts, policy makers, innovators and disruptors. Collectively their knowledge, strategic insights and innovative thinking will provide invaluable intelligence to participants as they navigate a changing economic environment.
CPA Fiji President, Mr Uday Sen says “we are delighted to have Asco Motors on board again this year with a sponsorship of FJD30,000. Staging a conference of this calibre requires a collaboration of local corporate stakeholders. As you know, the CPA Conference is attended by industry captains, leaders and decision makers in Fiji. We are grateful with the assistance of such sponsors like Asco Motors, as it will assist our efforts in executing a premier conference”.
Good quality corporate financial reporting and high quality audit must be the hallmarks of our financial and corporate sectors. And this can only be achieved through the collective efforts of all stakeholders in the financial reporting value chain. Good quality financial reporting improves the decision-making process by directors and management. These are just some of the things that is advocated by the CPA.
Kumar ends, “this is an opportune time for enhancing our collective knowledge and business networking. Asco Motors has also pledged its continued support towards the Fiji CPA Branch going forward. We wish Fiji CPA Branch and all its members a successful congress”.
This year’s congress will be staged in September, at the Shangri-La’s Fijian Resort & Spa, along the Coral Coast.
